I am moving.

Although I do not have a definite date, I will be moving in the near future.

During Covid, I started teaching on line. I have two cameras set up, one to see me and one showing my hands on the keyboard for demonstration purposes. It worked amazingly well. I even taught someone on line who moved to China during Covid.

Although some people returned to coming to my house, many, particularly those with busy lives, continued on line, it suited them better, it is very cost effective time-wise, no travelling and no waiting.

All you need for an on line lesson is broadband, a laptop/tablet and something to stand it on; many use sturdy music stands. I use Microsoft teams for the lessons. There is no need to be a technical whiz kid to have on line lessons, it is quite straightforward.

I will be continuing to teach my on line pupils after I move, and any of my other pupils who are happy to carry on on line.

I will be accepting new pupils who are comfortable with on line lessons after I move.
